Last Updated: June 28, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Career & Financial Pathways LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information through our website (the “Site”) and in connection with our career coaching services under the Career Prism Method℠.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
Contact information you provide, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
Assessment data, including Highlands Ability Battery (HAB) scores and patterns, and other assessment results.
Background information you share with us, such as education history and career goals.
Notes and records from coaching conversations.
Payment information is processed through our third-party payment processor (Square); we do not store full payment card numbers.
Website usage information, such as pages visited and general analytics data, which may be collected through cookies (see Section 7).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Administer assessments and generate your G.E.M.S. Profile™, Career Spectrum™ Report, and Career Design Blueprint™.
Provide, personalize, and improve our coaching services.
Communicate with you about your engagement, scheduling, and billing.
Comply with our legal and contractual obligations.
4. Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools
To help synthesize assessment results into personalized career guidance, we may input certain client information — including HAB profile data, background information, generated reports, and coaching notes — into secure, enterprise-grade AI platforms such as Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude. We only use AI platforms that, per their own terms, do not retain client data or use it to train their underlying models. All AI-generated content is reviewed and curated by your coach before it is shared with you, and is never used as a substitute for professional judgment. We obtain your written consent before entering any Highlands Ability Battery data into an AI platform, consistent with the Highlands Company's privacy policy and ethical guidelines.
5. Third Parties We Work With
We share information with the following categories of third parties only as necessary to provide our services:
The Highlands Company, which administers and scores the Highlands Ability Battery.
Square, our payment processor, for billing and invoicing.
AI platform providers, as described in Section 4 above.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain client records, including assessment data and coaching notes, for two (2) years after the end of your engagement, at which point the records are securely deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request earlier deletion of your information by contacting us (see Section 10).
7. Cookies and Website Analytics
Our Site may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve our content. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
8. Information About Minors
Some of our clients are minors participating in our Academic Assurance™ services. For any client under 18, we require signed parental or guardian consent before collecting assessment data or coaching notes, and before using any AI tools in connection with that data. Coaching conversations between a minor client and their coach are kept confidential to build trust, except that we provide parents/guardians with high-level progress updates, and except where we believe there is a risk of harm to the student or others, in which case confidentiality will be set aside to ensure safety. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
9. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Rights and Choices
You (or, for a minor client, your parent/guardian) may contact us to:
Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal and contractual recordkeeping obligations.
To make a request, contact us using the information in Section 12 below.
